Day 0
The afternoon it began, and skipping it on later survivors.
Your first survivor begins on Day 0, the afternoon the outbreak starts. You're at the wheel of your own car in Little Seoul with the radio on, driving to an appointment at Pillbox Hill Medical Center. Follow the yellow route. The city comes apart around you on the way, and what happens at the hospital is yours to see.
- It takes about ten minutes. You can be hurt, but you can't die on Day 0.
- If you disconnect, Continue Day 0 on the survivor files picks it up from the last checkpoint.
- Afterwards you wake on Day 412. Hold SPACE to skip the narration cards if you've seen them before.
- Look in the mirror to make your survivor's face, then Orientation begins.
Later survivors
Day 0 has to be played once per account. After that, a new survivor can choose Skip Day 0 on the survivor files and wake straight into Day 412.
Drive the way you would on a normal afternoon. Things happen ahead of you on whatever road you take.
