About these terms
A.P.O.C is a story survival game server for FiveM, the multiplayer modification for Grand Theft Auto V. It is run by its owner and a volunteer staff team ("A.P.O.C", "we", "us"). These terms cover the game server, the website at playapoc.xyz, the official A.P.O.C Discord server and the A.P.O.C store at store.playapoc.xyz.
By connecting to the server, signing in on this site, joining the Discord or buying from the store, you agree to these terms, the server rules, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
Some things are also covered by other companies' terms, and those apply alongside ours: Cfx.re's terms for FiveM and your Cfx.re account, Discord's terms for Discord, Rockstar Games' terms for GTA V, and Tebex's terms for anything you buy.
Who can play
You must be 18 or older to play on A.P.O.C, sign in on this website, take part in our Discord community or buy from the store. The story is violent and grim, and the community is adults only. You must also be old enough to use Discord where you live, and meet Tebex's own requirements to make a purchase.
You need a legal copy of GTA V for PC and a Cfx.re account to use FiveM. If staff have reason to believe you are under 18, they will remove your access, and we will delete the data we hold about you as described in the Privacy Policy.
Your account
Your game account is identified by your Cfx.re (FiveM) license. On this website and on the Discord, you are identified by your Discord account. When you connect with the Discord app open, or use the link code in game, the server links the two so the site can show you your own survivor and nobody else's.
You are responsible for keeping your Discord and Cfx.re accounts secure. Anything done through them is treated as done by you. We can't recover an account that someone else has taken over through your Discord or Cfx.re login, but tell staff through Support and we will help where we can.
Accounts are personal. Don't share, sell, lend or buy accounts, survivors, whitelist access or anything attached to them, except through a gift pass bought for that purpose.
The rules
The server rules are part of these terms, along with the rules posted in the Discord. In short: you must be an adult, no cheats, no exploits, no harassment, and treat the people behind the other survivors like people. Robbing, betraying and killing other survivors in the game is allowed, because that's the game. Doing it to the real person behind the survivor is not.
Hate speech, threats, doxxing, sharing anyone's personal information, sexual content involving minors, and harassment that follows someone outside the game are never allowed, anywhere A.P.O.C has a presence.
Moderation and bans
Staff keep the server fair, and they decide what crosses the line. Depending on what happened, they may warn you, kick you, take back items or scrip that were gained unfairly, reverse trades, reset a survivor, or ban you for a time or for good. A ban can cover the game, this website, the Discord and the store together.
Staff act at their discretion, and they don't need to wait for a written rule to cover every case. The server's anticheat records suspicious activity automatically. When it is certain, it can kick or ban on its own, and staff review its records, and any appeal, afterward.
If you think a decision was wrong, appeal it through the Support page and a ticket in the Discord's #help-desk. Being banned for breaking the rules doesn't entitle you to a refund from us for anything you bought.
Real-money trading
Scrip, items, vehicles, bases, survivors, squads, accounts, whitelist access and gift codes are never to be bought, sold or traded for real money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, items in other games, or anything else of real-world value. That includes offering to, and paying someone to play for you.
Real-money trading is bannable for everyone involved, buyer and seller. Exchange trades that look like it are held for staff review. If you see it, report it through Support.
In-game items and scrip
Scrip, items, gear, skills and everything else in the game have no real-world value. You don't own them. We give you a personal, limited permission to use them in the game while you play by the rules. They can't be cashed out, and we never buy them back.
The world changes. Seasons reset the world (factions, settlements, loot and the economy), and items can be rebalanced, renamed or removed. Survivors die, and on Hardcore they die for good. None of that is a loss we owe you anything for.
The Exchange on this site
Signed in with Discord and with a living survivor, you can trade on the Exchange from this website. Every trade uses in-game scrip from your Exchange wallet and goods already in your collection box. No real money ever changes hands on this site.
A completed trade is final, except that staff may reverse trades that came from an exploit, a bug, a compromised account or real-money trading. Every website trade is logged so staff can check it. Don't use bots, scripts or anything automated to trade.
The store and Tebex
Everything on the A.P.O.C store is access or cosmetic. Nothing you can buy changes how the game plays: no weapons, gear, scrip, skills, XP, storage or protection, not now and not later. Nothing on the store is a currency, a loot box or a random draw, and nothing from it can be traded, sold on the Exchange or turned into scrip.
The store's checkout is owned and operated by Tebex Limited, who are the reseller and merchant of record for every purchase. Tebex handles payment, billing, receipts, taxes, refunds and payment disputes, under Tebex's own terms and privacy policy. This website never takes a payment and never sees your card or bank details. For a billing problem, use the support link on your Tebex receipt.
On the store, you log in with the Cfx.re account you play with. That is how a purchase finds your game account. What you buy is a digital item or a permission on the A.P.O.C server, delivered automatically, usually within a minute. If something hasn't arrived after an hour, contact us through Support with your Tebex transaction ID.
Prices are shown at checkout. We may change prices, add or retire packages, or pause the store at any time. A change never affects something you already bought, except as described under If the server changes or ends.
What each purchase is
- Whitelist access. Lets your account into the server while the whitelist is switched on. A one-time purchase that lasts for as long as the server runs, unless you are banned or the payment is refunded or charged back.
- Priority queue. When the server is full, you wait nearer the front of the line. It never removes anyone who is already in, and staff and players reconnecting after a crash still go first. The monthly version is a subscription that renews each month until you cancel it through Tebex. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep priority until the end of the month you paid for. A one-time pass lasts for the period shown when you buy it.
- Gift pass. Whitelist access for someone else. You get a code, and they redeem it on this site or on the connect screen. The access belongs to the account that redeemed the code, but it still depends on your payment: if that payment is refunded or charged back, their access is removed too.
- Name change. One new name for your current survivor, under the same rules as a new survivor's name. Old records keep the name they had at the time.
- Appearance re-do. One trip back through the mirror for your survivor's face, hair and features. Clothes, gear and inventory don't change.
- Squad emblem upload. Your squad's leader uploads an emblem on this site. Staff review every emblem before it shows in the game or on the site. A rejected emblem gives the upload back. Staff may remove an approved emblem later if it breaks the rules.
- Base decor packs. Purely cosmetic objects for your base. They have no storage, crafting, protection or stats, can't block anything and can't be raided.
- Credits listing. A name of your choosing in the game's end credits and on the Support the server page. Staff check every name before it appears, and you can hide it at any time.
Purchases are tied to the account that bought or redeemed them and can't be transferred, except through a gift pass.
Refunds and chargebacks
Because Tebex is the merchant of record, refunds are handled by Tebex under its terms and refund policy. Contact Tebex through the support link on your receipt to ask for one. If you are in the EU, the UK or another place with a right to cancel online purchases, Tebex's checkout explains how that right applies to digital content that is delivered straight away.
When a payment is refunded or charged back, whatever it unlocked is removed again automatically: access, priority, unused name changes, appearance re-dos or emblem uploads, decor, a credits name, and gift codes. Unused gift codes stop working, and whitelist access a friend got from one of your codes is removed as well. If a chargeback is later resolved in our favor, what it removed is put back. A chargeback filed for a purchase that was delivered as described may also lead to the account being restricted from the store.
If a purchase didn't arrive or doesn't work, tell us first through Support. Most problems are a wrong Cfx.re login at checkout and are quick to fix. Nothing in these terms limits any refund right you have under the consumer law where you live.
If the server changes or ends
A.P.O.C is a living game. We may change, add or remove features, rebalance anything, reset the world at the end of a season, take the server down for maintenance, or move it to new hardware. We'll try to give notice on the Discord for anything big.
A.P.O.C could also close for good one day. If it does, we will give as much notice as we reasonably can on the Discord, stop selling and stop renewing subscriptions. Access and cosmetics only exist while the server runs, so they end when it does. Any refund in that case is handled through Tebex under its policy and the law that applies to you.
Your content
Some things you create show up for other people: survivor and squad names, squad emblems, photos you take in the game and publish to the photo archive, credits names, Exchange listings, chat, and what you post in the Discord. You keep whatever rights you have in them.
By submitting them, you give A.P.O.C a free, worldwide, non-exclusive permission to host, store, copy, resize, display and share them inside the game, on this website and on our official Discord and social channels, for as long as they're on A.P.O.C and for a reasonable time afterward in backups and archives (for example, a fallen survivor's file in the Hall of the Fallen). Photos only appear on the website and in the Discord if you, and everyone else in the frame, have turned on posting your best photos, and you can turn that off at any time.
Only submit things you have the right to use. Nothing hateful, sexual, violent toward real people, infringing or impersonating someone else. Staff review emblems and credits names before they appear and may remove any content at any time without notice.
Takedowns. If you believe something on A.P.O.C infringes your copyright or other rights, or shows you without your permission, email [email protected] with a link to it or a description of where it is, what right you hold, and how to reach you. We'll review it and remove it if it shouldn't be there.
Our content and other people's
The A.P.O.C name, logo, story, writing, voice work, custom scripts, map work, art and this website are owned by A.P.O.C or used under license from their creators. Don't copy, dump, redistribute, resell or reverse-engineer A.P.O.C's server files, streamed assets or scripts, or reuse them on another server.
Grand Theft Auto V and its content belong to Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive. FiveM is made by Cfx.re. Third-party assets used on the server belong to their creators and are used under their licenses.
A.P.O.C is not approved, sponsored, or endorsed by Rockstar Games. A.P.O.C is an independent community server. FiveM is a Cfx.re product, and A.P.O.C is not affiliated with or endorsed by Cfx.re, Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
Using this website
Use the site the way a person would. Don't try to break into it or the game behind it, get around its rate limits or sign-in, read data that isn't yours, scrape it in a way that slows it down for others, or automate trading on the Exchange. Don't use the site to harass anyone or to break the law.
Live numbers, maps, rankings and the forecast come straight from the game and can be out of date, delayed on purpose (survivor positions on the public map are always at least ten minutes old and grouped, never individual), or wrong when the server is restarting.
Reporting a security problem
If you find a security problem in the website, the game server or the store integration, please email [email protected] privately instead of using it or posting it publicly. Tell us what you found and how to reproduce it. Only test against your own account, don't access or change other people's data, and give us reasonable time to fix it. Using a bug for gain in the game is an exploit under the rules. Reporting it is the right call, and we'll thank you for it.
No warranty
A.P.O.C is a community project, provided as is and as available. We work hard to keep it running and fair, but we don't promise that the server, the site or the store will always be available, free of bugs, or free of data loss, or that any feature will stay the same. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, A.P.O.C, its owner and its staff are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost data, lost in-game progress, items or scrip, arising from your use of A.P.O.C. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for store purchases in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50, whichever is more.
Some places don't allow these limits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing here takes away your statutory rights as a consumer.
Leaving A.P.O.C
You can stop playing at any time. To have your data deleted, follow the steps in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the rules, if the law requires it, or if A.P.O.C closes. The sections on your content, our content, no warranty, limitation of liability and disputes keep applying after you leave.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as A.P.O.C changes. The date at the top always shows the latest version. If a change matters, we'll announce it in the Discord before it takes effect. If you keep playing, signing in or buying after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree with a change, stop using A.P.O.C and ask us to delete your data.
Disputes and the law
If something goes wrong, please talk to us first through Support or by email. Most problems get sorted out quickly that way. Billing disputes are between you and Tebex as the merchant of record.
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where A.P.O.C's operator is based. If you live in the EU, the UK or another country whose consumer laws give you rights that can't be waived, those rights still apply, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.
